What’s college life like? It’s a phrase that is used by almost every student in high school, particularly when they have done something wrong. The popular phrase “schoollife” is often used when something is wrong and it could affect the condition of a student. You might wonder why I am writing this article. This is to show you the benefits of being a good student. Not just students, but anyone who wants to save their life can benefit from being honest. Even though our parents teach us to be truthful at home and to our community, as we age we start to deviate slightly or completely from that. Sorry, but it doesn’t work that way. The majority of students at tertiary schools are teenagers and are easily influenced by things that go against school rules and regulations. But who will tell the truth to the school administration, who will be honest and say what happened?
Dishonesty is often used by students to avoid punishments. Some students will use these excuses as an excuse to avoid punishments. However, they do not realize that using them more frequently is counterproductive and could lead to them becoming liars. Has your teacher ever asked you to lie about your homework? Students can lie in many other ways. Even if you have a good reason for lying, it is still not worth it. Dishonesty will not get you anywhere. Look closely at people who have achieved their success through dishonesty. You will see that it has not worked for them. They keep rotating around one point to show that they’re moving. Those who are dishonest don’t realize that it can lead them to a better life than what they currently have. Because I was honest with my promise not to mislead or lie to you, you are now reading this. Since no sermon can force you to be sincere, you must decide for yourself to be. It is only after you have found value that you will decide to be truthful. This is why I am sharing this piece with all of you. Please be honest. Read the post and let me know how it relates to your life, whether you are a student or not. You will hear my life stories. And don’t think that honesty is only important for students. It’s also necessary for everyone. People are always looking for ways to get things done, regardless of how others feel.
When you correct someone’s wrongdoing using “apian ways” or “shortcut”, they may also respond with this absurdity. What does “apian” mean? I’m not sure, but it seems to be used by everyone in my country. People who aren’t honest will use the “shortcut”, which is self-centeredness and excuses to reduce stress. If you’ve heard the saying, “There’s no shortcut for success”, but are still dishonest, don’t you think it’s a waste of time to try to get ahead by lying? Why are there dishonest students? As I said earlier, people will use this as an excuse to avoid admitting that they are dishonest. A better way to say what they mean is’smartness. What can making up lies do to your academic performance? What will your record be when everyone discovers that you were lying? You might be wondering “what is the benefit of being honest?” as you read the article. If this is you, I’ll reveal these benefits at the end of this article. Since the pursuit for personal gain without considering rules and regulations is possible, honesty can be manipulated. In 2014, I was a head boy at a public high school. My other colleagues and I were tasked with helping the school’s management maintain a conducive academic environment to encourage learning. The one challenge I can remember clearly was “student dishonesty”. In the past, being a “smart student” was a very desirable trait. Now, many of them are living in the towns and the effects of this can be disastrous. Some students are very late for school. It’s become their habit. They may even claim to be ill if caught. Then, if everything goes according to plan, they’re not being dishonest.
One of its main goals is to help students become honest citizens who are able to stay the course even when there are many factors to encourage them otherwise. If you do not learn this, you are still not educated. It is important to distinguish between education and formal schooling. You can’t be considered a smart student if your tricks are shady or you make excuses for not doing your work. My soul judgement of a smarter student is to study books, not cheat on exams and get high grades. This demonstrates your intelligence and ability to understand what you’re being taught at school. How do students lie to their teachers and parents? They lie to their teachers and parents the most. It is possible to lie many different ways. Here are a few examples. Some students make excuses when they fail to complete a homework assignment or claim that they completed it themselves, but they actually got help. Dishonest pupils cheat at exams, or even bribe lecturers who are sick to help them get high grades. I’ve seen some students using their parents as payment machines. They have collected extra fees by sending forged text messages or school memos. Students who fail to pay attention to their teacher will often complain to parents about their incompetent teacher/lecturer. Even stealing from another student is not uncommon. They will deny that they know where the item went. Some students only read their books when they are supervised by their teachers or parents. They will waste time without supervision.
This is only a small selection. Please add any other popular student lies in the comments below. How To Be Honest And Save your Life People who constantly lie to themselves, and to others, will often ask: “What are some of the benefits to being honest?” This is not because they want to be truthful, but rather to find out if they can benefit from other people’s honesty. It’s not just about being honest. There are a number of other benefits. Who am I, then, to list them all? It sounds easy, but it isn’t. It is possible to be sincere, but you will need time and commitment to do so. You can’t just wake up and decide to be honest. It is important to decide, in your mind, that you are willing to participate in the benefits of being honest. Then, begin learning how to become a person who is honest. You can transform your life by being honest. Being more honest will make you achieve greater things. This little exercise will help you learn to be honest. First, tell the truth to yourself. Never make excuses. It is important to be honest, both with yourself and those around you. It may sound difficult but, if done consistently, being honest will have a positive effect on your life.
It’s Important To Be Honest Being honest makes you brave: Although it is difficult to do, being honest can make you fearless. Honesty makes you real: It is also important to be honest because it shows how people can trust you. You don’t want to be another fake? Honesty attracts people: Who you are acts as a magnetic force and draws others to you. Being honest can be a huge positive magnet, which will attract other honest people towards you.
This will keep you out of trouble. If everyone accepts your words as truth, you will find it easy to forgive.
Filter mixed emotions: When you’re honest, you can have feelings that are positive, straightforward, and unmixed.
Honesty creates trust. If you don’t have trust, there is no business. I do not think anyone in their right mind would want to enter into business with a person who isn’t honest. Honesty creates trust between people from different disciplines and is a strong link in business.
Truthfulness will make you feel free. Mark Twain stated that “if one tells the truth then they don’t remember anything”.
What circumstances do you find it necessary to lie? How does it feel to lie about something you own or not fulfill your responsibilities? If you’re happy and comfortable with it, we can say that lying is a good practice for society. As a student, you can now see the importance of honesty. Non-students will also be able acknowledge that lying is not worth it. It is always better to have a bitter truth than a sweetly lied because eventually the truth would come out.
